Add beneficial properties to your tea with spices

Spices can give to your tea a special flavor but they are also beneficial to your health.

They have been used since the ancient times to improve taste and for medical purposes too. Some of them help against cancer and kill germs while others reduce cholesterol or improve blood circulation.
Let me give you some examples: Blood circulation (black pepper, cinnamon, ginger), Blood Sugar (cinnamon), Cholesterol (cinnamon), Colds and flues (anise, black pepper, ginger), Digestion (black pepper, cardamom, fennel, nutmeg), Heart (cardamom), Immune system (ginger), Kidney (cardamom, fennel, nutmeg), Lungs (cardamom), Metabolism (black pepper), Migraine (ginger), Mood (cardamom), Pains (clove, ginger, nutmeg), Vitality (cinnamon)
These are very few examples of course and you will plenty more if you do your own research.

Don't be afraid to try some new combinations with green, black, red or white tea, just let your imagination guide you.

Always remember though not to use large quantities of spices and herbs because too much of anything can be harmful instead of beneficial. If you have medical problems always consider your therapist's opinion.
